Jan grew up on the East Coast and moved to the Gorge after graduating with a BFA and BA from Cornell University. She has been a professional graphic designer for over 25 years and has handled the marketing and branding for Copper West since it started in 2001. As Marketing Director, Jan strives to provide a cohesive brand for Copper West across print, digital and social media. She works closely with the team on marketing materials and ideas for promoting client's properties successfully.

Jan is passionate about creativity and supporting the Arts in our community and our schools. Jan has served on the board of the Hood River Cultural Trust and the gallery committee of The Columbia Center for the Arts. She has done freelance design work for numerous businesses and organizations throughout the Gorge and Portland. Jan currently serves on the board of Gorge Artists, which organizes the annual Open Studios Tour and Art of Community which advocates for public art in the Gorge and created the Big Art Walking Tour. 

Jan lives in Hood River with her husband Maui and their three amazing children.
